Thanks to our perfect location in Hintere Glemmtal, the Glemmtal and Kitzbühel Alps are practically at our guests' feet. Experience the variety of activities and excursion destinations available for all ages. Whether you are a sports fan or in relaxation mode - there is something for everyone here in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Above our Ossmannalm you can pay a visit to our animal enclosure area, which has an education trail providing information about the animals. Our ibex "Ossi" lives here with three females, and you can watch the feeding session. This takes place once a day.
Family activities

Our valley provides lots of different adventures for all the family. Around the animal enclosure area above the Ossmannalm, there is a 1.3 km circuit with an educational trail providing information about the animals. Various signposts provide interesting facts about the animals that live in this area. At the start you get a puzzle pass with which you get a reward at the finish - in the Ossmannalm.
There are so many exciting activities on the farm, such as pony rides, bread baking, butter making and even a pizza night. You can also come with us when we take the animals out to the pastures. Once a week there is a honey snack, in our own apiary, and you get to see the bees. Our free ice-cream afternoon is definitely a highlight for the children and there is also our snack sampling session - "fish meets bacon" - for everyone to enjoy.
In the high ropes park, at the end of the valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm, you get to test out your skills and demonstrate your aptitude for heights. The levels range from 3 to 40 metres in height. The entire high rope garden area spans 1.5 km, crossing the Saalach with a 500 m zip wire. There are three zip wires in total, spanning 2 km in length

Hiking specifically
for nature lovers.
In Glemmtal our guests get to explore 400 km of very well signposted hiking paths and routes. There is something to suit every nature lover, hiker and mountaineer here. In the summer the cable cars take you conveniently into the high mountain regions in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Those who are passionate about the mountains will be delighted by the many and varied routes, and the dreamy views of the surrounding mountains.
There area various different starting points for family hikes with children, and expert mountain climbers will find a terrain to suit them too. After a few hours of intense effort there are over 30 Alpine inns waiting to welcome you in, offering delicious regional foods and treats from the Pinzgau cuisine.
Bike El-Dorado

Wheels turn in the bike region of Saalbach Hinterglemm. A network of mountain bike routes that is one of a kind in the world, in all difficulty levels, provides the requisite entertainment for soul-riders, free-riders, downhill experts and cross-country fans. Thanks to the perfect location of the Feriengut, you have direct access to the freeride routes on the Reiterkogel.
Riders who are not up to the big climbs can avail of five state-of-the-art cable cars. This means you get to explore the countless panoramic trails almost effortlessly. Those new to riding and families will find not-so-technical cycle routes for their cycling adventures. The 280 km Tauern cycle path is totally suitable for families.
